We found that Customer Care training was not dealing with the difficulties that staff were facing with a few members of the public. We then brought in Greenfield to do the Handling Aggression training. We originally thought we would have about 80 people to go on this course but after a year we have trained over 280 and will carry on running the course regularly. One of the main reasons that this course has proved more popular than many others is that the training is of such high quality - enjoyable, with lots of good tips and the use of role play really helps people think about things and learn.

Feedback on the evaluation forms is much higher for this course than on others ("the best course that the council have run, and I have been here 15 years") and also when I mention this course people are really positive about it.
